RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
NEWCLIP TECHNICS focuses its activity on research and innovation in order to continue to develop the best anatomical implants with exclusive technologies.
Among these technologies, the polyaxial DualTec System® fixation offers surgeons the mechanical stability they need, but also great freedom in placing the plates and screws.
The DualTec System® patented technology indeed enables the screw to be angulated before being locked on a plate. The DualTec System® is as simple as a standard screwed system and facilitates the process of bone rehabilitation. This locking technology also exists in a miniaturized version called DualTech System 2® which was developed for minimally invasive thinner implants (2mm) (e.g.: distal radius, lateral clavicle).

Matthieu Ollivier is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Institute for Locomotion at Sainte Marguerite’s Hospital and an assistant professor of anatomy at the Medical University in Marseille.
Matthieu has studied in Marseille, Paris, Las Vegas and Grenoble, gaining a PhD in Biomechanics from the Institute of Human Movement Science in Marseille. He has won several prestigious awards including Best Research Paper (Paris, 2015) and Best Research Protocol (Grenoble, 2016) from the French Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the AAHKS John Insall Award (Las Vegas, 2015).
Matthieu’s research interests include ACL using quadriceps tendon, meniscal allografts, mechanics of the hip labrum, anterolateral ligament reconstruction and alignment in total knee arthroscopy. He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed publications and contributed to 18 medical books.
Kristian Kley completed his medical training at Hannover Medical School in 2006 and then started a residency in orthopaedic trauma in Hannover with Prof Philipp Lobenhoffer. He is now working as fellow in a group practice in Hannover (Gelenkchirurgie Orthopädie Hannover) with Prof. Lobenhoffer. Kristian Kley early developed a strong interest in osteotomy around the knee. He is an active member of the Hannover team treating 300 patients per year with osteotomy around the knee and developing new techniques and instruments to ease these procedures. He has been active on national and international meetings and is also guest member of the Joint Preservation Expert Group of AO Foundation. Kristian Kley has developed unique techniques of minimal-invasive osteotomy of femur and tibia which are now used clinically in Hannover on a regular basis.

Paul is a highly experienced sales and marketing manager, with a peerless track record in growing early sales in highly competitive orthopaedic markets, including early UK sales for ApaTech Ltd as well as most recently taking Mathys’ Affinis Short Stem shoulder replacement to number 1 in market share in the anatomic segment of the Shoulder Market. Paul joined Joint Operations in April 2018.
In 2019 John joined the joint operations team. Well known to orthopaedic surgeons in the East region of the country with a decade of experience in the OrthoRecon market. John is supporting James Donald in the East Midlands area, James and Joint Operations are delighted to add his experience to the team.
