This course is designed for surgeons interested in peripheral nerve surgery who are competent in direct nerve repair and common upper limb nerve decompression and would like to gain further experience in advanced techniques in peripheral nerve surgery. Case-based discussions will allow the exploration of advanced reconstruction strategies. The practical cadaveric workshops are designed to develop familiarity with infrequent surgical approaches, revision nerve decompression surgery, connector assisted nerve repair, nerve autograft, nerve allograft, nerve transfer and surgical management of post-traumatic neuroma.

Sophie joins the Marketing team with over 10 years of experience across Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Craniomaxillofacial and Nerve Repair surgery.
Being especially passionate about surgical repair for patients with peripheral nerve damage, Sophie will manage and develop clinical education programmes and research in this area as well as our expanding CMF, Neuro and Spine division at Joint Operations.
Jade joined the Joint Operations Family in June 2021 as an Executive Assistant for Richard Forster and the Orthopaedic team. With 10 years of experience in administrative support roles, Jade’s organisational skills and versatile admin experience means she is well equipped to support the Orthopaedic team with all of their administrative needs.
