Biobank is the largest processing bank of donated femoral heads in France. The Biobank Supercrit® process is based on the delipidation of bone tissue by a non-toxic fluid, CO2, in a supercritical state, combined with chemical oxidation of the residual proteins contained in the pores of the cancellous tissue.
At the end of the Supercrit® procedure, the trabecular bone tissue is perfectly clean and retains its initial architecture and volume.

There are many possibilities of bone graft that can then be machined and prepared from the femoral heads. One of which is a consistent range of cannulated bone dowels.
